Summary:
Baroque art started in Europe around 1600s. Baroque art is less complex, but more realistic and emotional than the arts from before.
It was affected by Mannerism, which was the art used before the Baroque. Baroque was uplifted by the Catholic Churches. Few of the Baroque artists were Caravaggio, Gianlorenzo Bernini, and Annibale Carracci. When the Rococo art took over in 1800s, Baroque Art ended.
